Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Giant Fish Treasure: Where to find Ruta’s Divine Helm?

Your search for rare items and unique outfits in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has only just begun. Here’s a side quest that should help you out a lot.

Unlock the quest “The Treasure of the Giant Fish”

When you have completed the main quest of Sidon, Zora’s Domain with the Water Temple, return to the Domain and go all the way up to the top, in the throne room to talk to the new king to the right of Dorefah. He will have a quest for you called “The Treasure of the Giant Fish”. Note that this has nothing to do with the famous Radiant Scale Spear that you can get from the blacksmith.

Sidon will then give you a enigma (still) that you will have to solve to find a chest containing a very practical reward.

Where to go to find the treasure?

Before giving you the solution, take a good look at the riddle again:

The riddle of the giant fish

Giant fish, eternal guardian, beneath your statue, a treasure sleeps. Below the long bridge that leads to you, he who, without fear, will cross the two falls, of said treasure will be rewarded.

Starting from the throne room, go back down to the level of the large statue in the central square (the one that was covered in mud!) and walk along the main bridge until reaching above the big waterfall (point indicated on the map below).

Throw yourself into the void with your parasail to reach the foot of the waterfall (this is the first waterfall mentioned in the riddle). Swim across the waterfall to find a secret entrance leading you into the Zora’s Domain Underground Cave. You will also see the entrance to a chasm below leading straight into the Depths.

This place is filled with nox gems, lumos seeds but also a rare ingredient for your recipes: the silencio snail. Then move forward towards the second waterfall and cross it to find the chest !

The treasure is none other than a Ruta’s Divine Helma relic from the past that belonged to the prodigy Mipha in Breath of the Wild. If you wear it, you will have a bonus to your swimming speed. Note that it is also possible to obtain this item via the Mipha amiibo.
