Fresh milk is a fairly rare resource in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom if you don’t know where to look! However, you will need it to complete an important quest in Kakariko Village, among other things.
What is Milk used for?
While Milk may be required for completing some side quests and other missions, its main use is obviously to prepare good dishes. Check out our list of recipes to find out which ones contain milk. Some of the best hearts restaurant dishes include:
- Tomato soup: 1 milk + 1 tomato
- Creamy mushroom soup: 1 mushroom of your choice + 1 salt crystal + 1 milk + 1 vegetable of your choice + 1 herb of your choice
- Velouté de cœur: 1 radish max (or large radish max) + 1 milk + 1 Fruit volt + 1 melon glagla
- Meat stew: 1 wheat + 1 knob of butter + 1 milk + 1 meat of your choice
Finally, milk is a component of Vegetable Oatmeal and is probably the reason you are trying to obtain it to complete the quest.
Where to find fresh milk?
Milk can only be purchased in the Village of Elimith, located in the Necluda region, in the eastern part of the map. You can find it in thecentral grocery store from the city at 12 rubies each. You can also go to the Dairyat the very top of the village, to meet Rhodo and trade him acorns for Milk. You can find acorns simply by cutting down trees.
Later, you can simply find them at the store. Fort Guet if you complete the saleswoman’s quests.
