This new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom outfit will allow you to explore the Depths with much more ease since it lights up the surroundings, making your movements easier. An outfit that should definitely be a priority, especially if you are afraid of the dark.
How to get the Miner outfit?
Miner’s pants
All three pieces of equipment can be found in the Depths. We recommend completing Joshua’s questline to unlock your first roots. Also remember that each of the shrines on the Surface leads you to a root in the bowels of the earth.
For the miner’s pants, go to the Nuq Oladat root, which is located below the Tadalo Qun sanctuary (Firone region).
From there, aim for the Hylian Valley Mine, on the left of the root (easily reached by paraglider). Once there, you will find the chest.
Miner’s breastplate
Same technique here: orient yourself by the roots and shrines on the Surface. This time, you will have to go to the Lay Usus Root, which is located just below the Susu Yai shrine (Central Hyrule). Once you arrive at the Mine on the left, use Infiltration to climb all the way up and find the chest.
Miner’s Mask
Now, let’s go to the Gerudo Desert. The Atat Ayam root will be your starting point: it is located just below the Mayan Tata shrine. This time, it’s very simple: the chest is on the ground, a few meters to your right, in the abandoned Assek mine.
How to improve the outfit to max level?
As in Zelda Breath of the Wild, you will need to have access to the 4 great fairies if you want to upgrade your equipment to the maximum. To do this, you will need to complete a series of essential side quests which starts at the forest relayafter which they will offer you their services in exchange for components. This is why you should always be careful to save some precious resources.
