Now that you have your fluffy Piafs cold-proof outfit to fly around the Hebra region in peace, you might want to think about completing your kit by crafting a weapon worth crafting on Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Unlock the Piafs’ Eagle’s Bow quest
Before you can access this ultimate weapon, you will first need to complete the main quest Babil, from Piaf Village, and therefore have conquered the Temple of Wind. Once this is done, return to Piaf Village and speak to Teba, Babil’s father. He is at the very top of the village.
He will then tell you about the famous Eagle’s Bow that he made for himself since he gave his to his son and will ask you for different resources to make another one for yourself:
- 1 swallow bow
- 5 bundles of wood
- 3 rough diamonds
Where to find a swallow bow?
This is probably the hardest resource of the three to find, but fortunately, it is possible to obtain one easily from a Piaf. Teleport to the Tower of Terel Pass and walk north to the edge of the cliff. Jump down into the void and you will see a mini landing strip. This is where Kai lives, at the flight practice platform. Behind him is a Swallow Bow that you can pick up for free, as well as some arrows.
Where to find rough diamonds and bundles of wood?
You should logically already have some bundles of wood on you if you have already cut down trees. If not, you can easily find trees in the area. Even the relays provide them, with bundles of wood, in case you need to make a fire.
As for the rough diamond, it’s a bit trickier. You’ll find some automatically in the secret shrines called “Rauru’s blessing” or by breaking golden rock clusters (very rare). It’s possible to buy some in the Goron Village (1000 rubies each) and, if you want, use the duplication glitch to get enough.
For your information, this bow is inspired by Revali’s bow in Breath of the Wild. If you break the weapon or lose it, it is possible to obtain another one or have it repaired by Teba in Piaf Village, for exactly the same resources as the first time. Very powerful, it allows you to fire three arrows at 28 base damage!
