An iconic character from the Zelda saga, the elf Tingle is not present in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! To fix this, you can wear his full outfit and pretend to be him. Note that his equipment does not grant any bonuses, everything is just cosmetic. The video above will help you much more easily find the 3 pieces of this outfit.
How to get Tingle’s outfit?
Tingle Combination
The first piece of equipment is found in the Gemini Mountainswest of Necluda. You can start from the Peuliers Tower to access this area easily. The cave is at the very bottom of the mountain and, inside, you will have to eliminate a Like to access the upper level. Up there, you will have to move stones to put them on the right slabs to activate the door.
Tingle Hood
Now go to the north of the Gerudo landsby taking the Gerudo Heights Tower. In the crevasse indicated on the map below, you will come across the famous statue of the eighth heroine. Land on the platform opposite to open a chest containing Mirrors. Place one so that it reflects light on the yellow mechanism at the end. This will open access to the cave: be careful, it is full of Gibdos. It is best to have Riju with you, otherwise use lightning arrows to eliminate them easily.
The chest is covered in sand: find a turbine next to it and activate it to remove the sand.
Tingle’s Shoes
For this last piece, let’s go to the bottom right of the map, starting from the Tower of Rabelle. You must land on a sandbank near the point on the map below in order to craft a raft with a board, a rudder and a turbine.
Then follow the coast to head towards the Cape Tubor Cave. In front of the wall, use the whistle (down arrow) to open the door. You will see a large pirate ship in the distance: go on it! You will have to eliminate some skeletons and you will find the chest hidden behind some crates on the left.
How to improve the outfit to max level?
As in Zelda Breath of the Wild, you will need to have access to the 4 great fairies if you want to upgrade your equipment to the maximum. To do this, you will need to complete a series of essential side quests which starts at the forest relayafter which they will offer you their services in exchange for components. This is why you should always be careful to save some precious resources.
