Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Wind Outfit: How to get the Sea Wind Shield and Wind Waker Outfit without amiibo?

If you are a fan of Wind Waker and would like a Link that looks like his Game Cube version in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom then this outfit is for you! Note that no effects will be applied, it is simply a cosmetic skin. It is possible to obtain the full set via an Amiibo but also in the game by going to the Depths. How to get wind hold?

The wind shoes

  • Exact position in the Depths: Cresia Mine / Coordinates: 3795 -3615 -0445
  • Mirror position on the Surface: on the sandy point of Village Écaraille, at Cap Perquelin

There are no enemies to kill to get the chest, you just have to go to the altar of the Mine of Cresia but the path is particularly long if you do not have a root nearby. For example, you can start from the chasm of Finalis Island.

Wind Tunic

  • Exact position in the Depths: Canfou Valley Mine / Coordinates: -3750 1354 -0680
  • Mirror position on the Surface: at Mount Canfou, below the Piaf Village in the Hebra region

Here again, a simple altar awaits you with the chest to open.

Wind cap

  • Exact position in the Depths: Under Davi Island / Coordinates: 4654 0624 -0723
  • Mirror position on the Surface: on the far right of the map, you have to start from Tiglen Island

On the Surface, start from the chasm of Tiglen Island and descend into the Depths. Based on the surface map, follow the path into the bowels to come across rock clusters to explode each time. The video at the top of the article will help you follow the route much more than this text. Your goal is to go to Davi Island to find the chest.

The Sea Wind Shield

To complete your Sea Wind outfit, you can also go get the special Wind Waker shield. Go to the Lanayru Marshes Abyss on Melka Island. You can go there from the Jon Sau Shrine. From there, you can jump into the Depths and head right to the Aqseq Iöam Root. The chest is in a tree stump still to the right, in the Dreary Forest.

The chest is still in the Depths, just below the highest point of Hebra.

How to improve the outfit to max level?

As in Zelda Breath of the Wild, you will need to have access to the 4 great fairies if you want to upgrade your equipment to the maximum. To do this, you will need to complete a series of essential side quests which starts at the forest relayafter which they will offer you their services in exchange for components. This is why you should always be careful to save some precious resources.
