Game news A pay-to-win skin? This appearance in Valorant allows you to shoot through walls… oops!
What was the surprise of the players when, by purchasing the latest skins released on Valorant, they realized that some of them allowed them to see through walls. ”’Indeed, the new skins encrusted with pink petals allow, if used in a certain way, to see the silhouettes of enemies through obstacles.”’ News to which the main producer of cosmetic content from ”Riot Games” FPS responded extremely quickly.
A problem we didn’t see coming
The new skin pack has arrived on Valorant. It’s called Mystbloom. Very well received by players for its aesthetics, especially its color is rarely present in the game: it is pink. However, the enthusiasm quickly died down. Following the release of patch 8.08 on April 30, a few clips made it possible to identify a “broken” bug, as English speakers would say. This term defines something far too powerful to remain as is. An intervention is requested as quickly as possible. The community doesn’t have to worry anymore, because the development teams are already on it!
Sorry, Jonah! You know we wanna make cool skins but pay-to-win isn’t acceptable or intentional. 🫤 😭We didn’t catch this, but appreciate the community helped us find this. We’re fixing this bug now and will push out a fix soon. 🙏 https://t.co/zNzryh4Rsz

In the video, we can see someone with an “operator”, one of the most powerful weapons in the game. This one was known for its damage and range, but now she’s known for that third strength: seeing enemies through walls while we observe our weapon. This feature is obviously not going to last long and no, you should not take advantage of it!
More classic new products
Besides this bug which is not very fun for players who are not aware of it, other new features are coming. The story of Valorant continues to unfold and a new card should arrive in the following months, more specifically on June 6. This new map is nice, because the latest one, “Sunset”, dates back around ten months. We already got Agent “Clove” a few weeks ago, a controller who is able to feign death itself to trap his enemies.
