Sea of Thievesformer Microsoft exclusive, finally opened up to PlayStation players a few days ago, the opportunity to return to the title of Rare and the new features that this new version offers. Here, the watchword is accessibility. Indeed, the newbies on the seas are likely to come into contact with the old sea dogs who will not hesitate for a single second to send them to the bottom. To deal with this eventuality, the title offers the possibility of deactivating cross-play, in order to allow novices to progress together, before being able to rub shoulders with experienced users. With its new support, the PlayStation 5 version takes into account the haptic feedback of the Dual Sense controller, although the latter are somewhat discreet. Finally, and to prepare for the arrival of new players, Rare has deployed an update offering the possibility of having access to fast travel as well as “Calm Seas” mode, ridding the waters of its PVP phases, retaining only the PVE.
