How many Apple Pencils do you need to do a pull-up?

An influencer destroyed 45 Apple pencils in a video, for Science the buzz. No, it’s not a joke. And yes, people no longer know what to do to get noticed.

In a publication viewed tens of millions of times, videographer Evan C attempts an unusual experiment. Honestly, nothing is wrong with the video, but that’s probably part of its charm.

Explanations

Standing, facing the camera, the young man tries to balance on his pull-up bar, which itself is a little wobbly, because it is taped to the doors of his closet. In his desperate attempt at virality, our TikTok influencer of the day begins his act with a single Apple Pencil, which gives way directly under his weight. But far from being discouraged, he doubles his bet, then triples it, and so on.

Test after test, the apple styluses break under the weight of the young man’s ambition, until you arrive at an (almost) winning combination. Here is the result :

Eventually, with 8 Apple Pencils, Evan can balance for a few seconds, but they will also buckle under pressure after a while. same for me the last attempt with 9 styluses.

Conclusion of the experiment: It seems that it takes a lot more than 9 Apple Pencils to achieve a full pull.

The videographer will have broken a total of 45 styluses. Apple will undoubtedly thank him for this experience in the strength of extraordinary materials, even if we do not know if these are original products from the brand, or counterfeits.

The Apple Pencil 3

Speaking of the Apple stylus, the firm should present a new one next Tuesday, May 7, during its conference Let Loose. During the event, the star device should be the iPad Pro, which will benefit from Apple’s most advanced technologies, whether in terms of display, CPU, and GPU. The Apple Pencil 3 should also offer some new features. You can view them here.
