Since Tuesday, we have been entitled to exclusive information regarding iOS 18, since it comes directly from Apple engineers. The data is once again signed by AppleInsider, and this time concerns the interoperability of two applications. These are the native Apple Calendar and Reminders apps.

Everything from one app

To give you more possibilities in iOS, Calendar and Reminders will communicate with each other. Among the advantages offered by this association, there is the fact of be able to create and organize reminders directly in Calendar. Moreover, Reminders created from Calendar will also be visible in the Reminders app.

Furthermore, as AppleInsider reports: “ The Calendar app will include options to select a specific date, time, and location for new reminders, as well as a priority setting.»

The design of the application should also benefit from a slight overhaul, including in particular bigger numbersto better display the hours. All these changes target iOS 18, but also iPadOS 18 and macOS 15.

Other innovations are to be expected
