Keynote “Let Loose”: what new thing are you most looking forward to?

Apple could unveil many new features on May 7, mainly aimed at the iPad ecosystem. The opportunity for us to ask you for your opinion, in order to know which advert you want the most.

The main novelty of the event could be the 12.9-inch iPad Air, while today this range is limited to 10.9 inches. The small model is also about to be renewed for a sixth generation, it seems.

At the same time, it is rumored that the Apple Vision Pro will finally have a release date for the United Kingdom, China, France and the rest of the world. For the moment, it is only possible to purchase the device in the United States, in the Apple Store. However, there are alternatives between individuals in France.

iPad Pro OLED: a new chip under the hood

During the May 7 keynote, Apple should not present an iPad mini but rather its new iPad Pro range. On the menu, a new screen at the front powered by OLED technology for greater contrasts and therefore, in theory, deeper blacks.

It is also rumored that the 2024 iPad Pros will be powered by the M4 chip. This would notably give pride of place to a Neural Engine with thirty-two cores, while this number is limited to sixteen on the M3 of the MacBook Pros. The result is improved AI performance and perhaps more convincing results when using the Apple firm’s proprietary voice assistant; Siri.

Finally, note that the OLED iPad Pros would be the thinnest in the range, with a few tenths of a millimeter less compared to their predecessors. These are still available in the official store, at the time of writing these lines.

Several accessories for iPads

With the iPad Pro OLED and the new iPad Air, Apple would also have planned to unveil a new stylus. This is the third generation Apple Pencil, apparently. This model could be equipped with a new control mode through the sliding of the finger on the body of the pencil. We also think that interchangeable magnetic mines will be included.

Finally, a Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro could also see the light of day during the keynote. This model would have a larger touchpad than the current edition, and with a new aluminum chassis. Rumors in the corridors which remain of the order of hypothesis, here too, as long as Apple does not confirm anything.
