OpenAI and Microsoft face new copyright lawsuit in the US

“As if plagiarizing the editors’ work were not enough, Defendants’ products are often subject to “hallucinations” in which those products defame the editors’ credibility by falsely attributing inaccurate reports to the editors’ newspapers,” they point out.

The plaintiffs demand that Microsoft and OpenAI pay financial compensation for illegally using journalistic content in their AI models.
