A few days after its official presentation, a leak has revealed the new Surface Laptop 6 with Snapdragon X Elite processor. A specifications sheet details the two models that will debut with the new Qualcomm chip, with which Microsoft will fully enter the era of artificial intelligence.
The filtration, published by techinamul in your X accountsuggests that we will see two Surface Laptop 6 variants at the May event. According to the list of technical characteristics, the technology giant will launch laptops with a 13-inch and 15-inch screen, one of them with two processor models to choose from.
Microsoft has reserved the best processor for the 15-inch Surface Laptop 6. This variant will arrive with a 12-core 3.8 GHz CPU (4.2 GHz on 2 cores), up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB internal storage (removable SSD).
Regarding the screen, the 13.5 and 15-inch Surface Laptop 6 will arrive with PixelSense touch panels. This Microsoft technology, present in the Surface Laptop Studio and Surface Pro, uses a dense array of touch sensors to detect multiple touch points accurately. The screen can recognize a wide range of gestures and are optimized for the Surface Pen.
The Surface Laptop 6 will offer support for Dolby Vision IQ, a contrast ratio of 1300:1 and maximum brightness of 400 nits (SDR). An anti-reflective coating and Gorilla Glass 5 protection against bumps and scratches are included.
Added to the specifications sheet, another leak reveals that Dell prepares a 14-inch Inspiron with Snapdragon.

All details will be revealed next May 20, 2024 at the Microsoft event. The Surface Laptop 6 is part of a series of computers focused on artificial intelligence which will include Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite chip. The list of manufacturers includes HP, Lenovo and Dell, each with proposals for different market segments.
