The Quest 2 are one of the most popular and best-selling virtual reality glasses due to their affordable price and the features they include. Its successors, the Meta Quest 3, introduce improvements in specifications, powers and, above all, in the passthrough system that allows real-time visualization of the environment for augmented reality or mixed reality. However, this new model has a considerably higher price than $549.99, so the Quest 2 remains an ideal option for those who want independent virtual reality glasses at a good price.
Some rumors and leaks suggest that Meta is developing a more modest and economical version of the Quest 3 called Meta Quest 3s, with half the storage, lower resolution and more limited specifications, so this reduction of the Quest 2 could be a step prior to its launch.
