Biostar's return to the enthusiast tier. The Z590 Valkyrie (ATX) and Z590i Valkyrie (Mini-ITX) were Biostar's flagship Intel 500-series boards, built to compete with the big names.

Serious power delivery. The ATX board carried a heavy VRM (a 22-phase design), the Mini-ITX a 10-phase, both on 10-layer PCBs with Dr.MOS stages — genuinely enthusiast-grade on paper.

LGA1200 platform. They take 10th/11th-Gen Intel Core CPUs with DDR4 (up to 128GB, 5000+ MT/s OC) and PCIe 4.0 — a capable but now previous-generation socket.

Distinctive looks + a strong warranty. A gold-and-pink "armor gear" aesthetic, RGB, and a 5-year warranty at a ~$360 launch MSRP.

The honest 2026 verdict: a fine board on an EOL socket. Great if you're already on LGA1200 or grabbing a deal; not a new-build platform to start on today.
