The real difference: how each keeps a face consistent
Higgsfield frames Soul's edge as a trained identity: “train a character once as a Soul ID and reuse the same face across generations,” and those Soul characters “can also be carried into some other models by saving them as an Element, so a face you build in Soul isn't locked to Soul alone.” Nano Banana instead leans on references at generation time. Independent creators testing identity drift describe the same split: Greg Preece ran a face-consistency comparison framed as which model “beats identity drift,” and a Creative Pad Media tutorial reached a similar “Soul for a locked identity” read.
