Unusually modest official specs: a GTX 1660 for 1080p30 and an RTX 3060 Ti for 1440p60. But both assume upscaling, and there's no 4K tier or storage size yet.
After a month of launch-day requirement sheets that read like upgrade invoices, S-GAME's kung-fu action RPG is a nice surprise: a GTX 1660, a card from 2019, is on the minimum line. There's small print, though, and it's the same small print as everywhere else in 2026: both tiers assume upscaling. Here's what's official, and what isn't.

All of that is from the Steam store listing. The notes on each tier read "with upscaling enabled" and "SSD installation required." Steam doesn't give a VRAM figure, so the VRAM numbers people quote come from the named cards: 6 GB on the smallest minimum-tier card, 8 GB on the smallest recommended one.
What "with upscaling" means for you
Upscaling (DLSS, FSR or XeSS) renders the game at a lower resolution and rebuilds a sharper image. It's the biggest free FPS lever in most modern games, and it's why these targets look so friendly. The practical reading: the 1440p60 figure is not native 1440p. If you like to play without upscaling, plan on needing more card than the recommended tier. Steam doesn't say which upscalers the game supports, so I won't guess. More on the setting itself in how to increase FPS in PC games.
Find your card
GTX 1660 / 1660 Super / 1660 Ti, RX 5500 XT 8GB: you're at the official minimum: 1080p30 with upscaling.
Older than that (GTX 1060, GTX 1650, 4 GB cards): below the listed minimum. It might start, but it isn't supported, and I can't tell you how it'll run. Wait for launch reports.
RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT and anything faster: the recommended tier, 1440p60 with upscaling.
Unlike some autumn releases, there's no hardware ray-tracing requirement on the Steam listing. Compare Gears of War: E-Day, where GTX cards can't run it at all.
Yes, it's the official minimum. Steam lists a GTX 1660 6GB for 1080p at 30 FPS with upscaling enabled, alongside an i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 and 16 GB of RAM.
What are the Phantom Blade Zero recommended specs?
An RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or RX 6700 XT 12GB, a Core i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X, and 16 GB of RAM, for 1440p at 60 FPS with upscaling enabled (Steam, checked 25 Sep 2026).
Does Phantom Blade Zero need ray tracing?
The Steam requirements don't list one, and the minimum tier names a GTX 1660, a card NVIDIA says has no RT cores (GTX cards run ray tracing on their regular shader cores).
How much storage does Phantom Blade Zero need?
Steam's listing requires an SSD but doesn't give a size (checked 25 Sep 2026). I'll add it when the developer publishes one.
When does Phantom Blade Zero release on PC?
28 October 2026, per its Steam page, where it's listed at $59.99 (checked 25 Sep 2026).
Checked 25 Sep 2026 against the Steam store listing. Requirements often change before launch; I'll update this if they do.
