Attio vs HubSpot pricing: the 3-year bill at 5, 20 and 50 seats

At list price Attio Pro is cheaper at every seat count. It flips when you need SSO, and again when both startup programs apply, because Attio's discount stops at 10 seats.

Both vendors publish most of their prices, so this is a maths problem, not a sales call. We read Attio's pricing and startup pages on 3 October 2026 and used the HubSpot prices we read on 2 October, after HubSpot changed its page to one seat price per plan. Then we priced 5, 20 and 50 seats over three years.

aliteq is a US company and every figure is a US list price in dollars. Neither vendor pays us, and we haven't bought, trialed or been quoted by either CRM. HubSpot against Salesforce is a different fight, covered in HubSpot vs Salesforce cost for startups. For eight CRMs side by side, see our CRM comparison for AI startups selling to enterprise.

What each one charges per seat now

Attio charges $35 for Plus and $79 for Pro per seat a month on annual billing, and quotes Enterprise. HubSpot charges $20 for Starter, $90 for Professional and $175 for Enterprise. Attio's annual discount is 20%; the same Pro seat is $99 if you pay monthly.

Professional: $90 annual, $100 monthly with a 12-month commitment

Enterprise: custom quote, billed annually

Enterprise: $175, annual only

Attio also has a Free plan for up to 3 seats, and its page says a 14-day trial of Pro is available. Attio's FAQ describes Plus as having "an unlimited amount of seats", but its plan card and compare table both say "Up to 10 seats". We use 10, and you should confirm it in writing if you're close to the line.

HubSpot Professional and Enterprise also require paid onboarding. The pricing page prints no fee, so we use the figures in HubSpot's product catalog, as "up to" amounts: $1,500 on Professional and $3,500 on Enterprise. Attio lists no setup fee.

The 3-year bill at 5, 20 and 50 seats

At 20 seats over three years, Attio Pro costs $56,880 and HubSpot Professional $66,300. HubSpot Enterprise costs $129,500. The formula is seats times the monthly price times 36, plus HubSpot's onboarding.

Bar chart and table of the three-year list cost of Attio and HubSpot on annual billing. At 20 seats: Attio Pro $56,880, HubSpot Professional $66,300, HubSpot Enterprise $129,500. At 5 seats: HubSpot Starter $3,600, Attio Plus $6,300, Attio Pro $14,220, HubSpot Professional $17,700, HubSpot Enterprise $35,000. At 50 seats: Attio Pro $142,200, HubSpot Professional $163,500, HubSpot Enterprise $318,500. Attio Plus and HubSpot Starter stop at 10 seats; Attio Enterprise is quote only.

Three things stand out.

  • Attio Pro is cheaper than HubSpot Professional by $3,480 at 5 seats, $9,420 at 20 and $21,300 at 50. The gap is $396 per seat over three years plus HubSpot's onboarding.
  • Below the cap, HubSpot Starter wins on price. At 10 seats it costs $7,200 against $12,600 for Attio Plus. It is also the thinnest tier, with no SSO and no sandbox.
  • Paying monthly erases most of the gap. Attio Pro is $99 a month and HubSpot Professional $100, so the difference falls to $36 a seat over three years plus onboarding: $2,220 at 20 seats. Attio's bigger annual discount (20% against HubSpot's 10%) is what opens the gap.

Enterprise mode uses the cheapest plan whose pricing page lists SAML SSO. Where a vendor doesn't list SAML, it uses the plan an enterprise-selling team would typically need and says so.

List prices in USD from Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Close, Folk, Zoho and Twenty, read 27 Sep 2026, and HubSpot (pricing page price data), rechecked 2 Oct 2026 after it repriced. Before promotions, startup programs, negotiation and tax. HubSpot requires onboarding on Professional but prints no fee; the figure is its catalog fee, so it's “up to”. “Not listed” means the pricing page has no SAML row, not that the vendor can't do it. AI credits past the included allowance aren't counted.

The 10-seat cap and the 11th-seat cliff

Both entry tiers stop at 10 seats, and the 11th seat moves your whole team to Pro. Attio Plus at 10 seats is $12,600 over three years; 11 seats on Pro is $31,284. HubSpot Starter at 10 seats is $7,200; 11 seats on Professional is $37,140 with onboarding.

HubSpot's pricing page says Starter plans "can add up to 10 paid users" and that Professional and Enterprise "can add more than 10 paid users". Attio's Plus plan says "Up to 10 seats" and Pro says "Unlimited".

So the cheap tiers are for teams that will stay small. If you expect to pass 10 sellers within a year, price the Pro tier from day one. On Pro at list, Attio stays cheaper than HubSpot at every size, so the cliff costs less on Attio's side: $18,684 for the jump, against $29,940 at HubSpot.

Where it flips: SSO and startup programs

Attio Pro wins at list, and two cases reverse it. First, SSO: HubSpot lists SAML single sign-on from Professional at $90, while Attio's FAQ puts "SAML support" on Enterprise, which has no public price. Second, startup programs: HubSpot's discount has no seat cap and Attio's does.

Break-even chart and table. An Attio Enterprise quote must stay under $98.33 a seat a month at 5 seats, $92.08 at 20 and $90.83 at 50 to beat HubSpot Professional, the cheapest HubSpot plan with SSO. With both startup programs, three-year Pro cost: 4 seats Attio $7,205 vs HubSpot $7,332; 5 seats $9,006 vs $8,790; 10 seats $18,012 vs $16,080; 20 seats Attio $56,880 (discount not valid above 10 seats) vs HubSpot $30,660; 50 seats $142,200 vs $74,400.
Break-even prices are our arithmetic; Attio has not published an Enterprise price. · aliteq research

The SSO flip. If an enterprise buyer's security review asks for SAML SSO, Attio Pro doesn't qualify. You'd need Enterprise. We can't price it, but we can say where it stops making sense. To tie HubSpot Professional's published three-year total, an Attio Enterprise quote has to be under $98.33 a seat a month at 5 seats, $92.08 at 20 and $90.83 at 50. That is only about $12 above Attio Pro's $79. Against HubSpot Enterprise ($175), the break-even is $194.44, $179.86 and $176.94.

If that sounds like a security tax, it is a known pattern across software. Our eight-CRM comparison shows who gates SSO behind which tier.

The startup flip. Both vendors discount funded startups, and the terms differ.

  • Attio: "80% off the annual Pro plan and credits for the first year" and "30% off the second year", with onboarding support. Attio says startups must be venture-backed. The eligibility FAQ says "VC-backed, signed up within the last 90 days, and incorporated less than 10 years ago", and "This discount is valid for workspaces of up to 10 seats."
  • HubSpot: 90% off year one, 50% off year two and 25% off year three on Professional or Enterprise, for startups that raised pre-seed, seed or Series A, or are affiliated with an approved partner. HubSpot's own FAQ says the discount period is "typically two years", so confirm year three.

With both discounts applied to Pro, Attio is cheaper at 4 seats ($7,205 against $7,332), and HubSpot is cheaper from 5 seats ($9,006 against $8,790). At 10 seats HubSpot saves $1,932. Above 10, Attio's discount doesn't apply, so 20 seats cost $56,880 on Attio against $30,660 on HubSpot.

The math: one year at list times 1.90 for Attio (20% plus 70% plus 100% of a year) and times 1.35 for HubSpot (10%, 50% and 75%), plus HubSpot's onboarding. We assumed onboarding isn't discounted, seat counts stay flat, and Attio's year three is full price. Neither page settles the first point, and Attio's page says nothing about year three.

What each tier includes

Attio Pro and HubSpot Professional both reach about 100 custom reports, but only HubSpot's lists SSO. Credits differ most: Attio gives every Pro seat 1,000 credits plus a shared 10,000 for the workspace, and HubSpot gives its Professional plan 10,000 credits a month.

Table comparing HubSpot Starter $20, Attio Plus $35, HubSpot Professional $90, Attio Pro $79, HubSpot Enterprise $175 and Attio Enterprise (quote) per seat a month. Seat cap: HubSpot Starter 10 users, Attio Plus 10 seats, others none. SAML SSO: HubSpot Professional and Enterprise, Attio Enterprise only. Sandbox: HubSpot Enterprise one standard. AI credits a month: HubSpot 5K, 10K, 15K; Attio Plus 500 per seat plus 1,500 workspace, Pro 1,000 per seat plus 10,000 workspace. HubSpot Pro and Enterprise require onboarding up to $1,500 and $3,500.

  • Limits. Attio caps objects at 5 on Plus, 12 on Pro and unlimited on Enterprise, and records at 250,000, 1,000,000 and custom. Attio Plus allows one email account per user and 1,000 emails a month; Pro allows two accounts and unlimited emails.
  • Permissions and billing. Attio lists advanced access permissions from Pro, and invoice billing (PO, ACH, check or wire) on Pro and Enterprise.
  • Sandbox. HubSpot includes one standard sandbox on Enterprise. Attio's pricing page lists none.
  • AI credits. Attio's seat credits work only in Ask Attio; workspace credits are shared across AI features and workflows. HubSpot's credits are a different unit, with pay-as-you-go at $0.010 a credit against Attio's add-on packs at about $0.014 a credit ($70 a month for 5,000, annual). Counts of credits don't compare across vendors, so what AI adds to your CRM bill prices them task by task.
  • Security statements. HubSpot says it offers a SOC 2 Type 2 report to customers and prospects, and a public SOC 3. Attio's trust center, when we read it on 27 September, listed ISO 27001:2022, GDPR and CCPA badges and no SOC 2 report. We found no stated EU-only hosting option for Attio. HubSpot says new customers can store data in its Frankfurt data center. Ask each vendor for its current report before you sign.

If you're selling to buyers who send security questionnaires, the SOC 2 line matters because your CRM ends up in your SOC 2 scope.

Which one fits which team

Pick the cheapest tier that clears what you need now, because each step up is billed on every seat.

Under 10 sellers and staying small: HubSpot Starter at $20 is the cheapest entry on paper. Attio Plus at $35 buys different features, not a lower bill.

Funded, with 5 to 10 seats: compare the startup offers. HubSpot Professional costs $8,790 at 5 seats against $9,006 for Attio Pro, and both run on discounts that end.

More than 10 seats and no SSO requirement: Attio Pro at $79 is the lower list price, $9,420 below HubSpot Professional at 20 seats.

An enterprise buyer asks for SSO: HubSpot Professional ($90) has a published price. Get an Attio Enterprise quote and hold it against $92 a seat at 20 seats.

Model year three and year four. Both discounts step down, and both vendors bill annually on every seat from then on.

If neither fits the budget, running an open-source CRM yourself swaps license fees for server and admin time. More cost breakdowns are on the Business Software hub.

Quick answers

Is Attio cheaper than HubSpot?
At list price on annual billing, Attio Pro ($79 a seat) is cheaper than HubSpot Professional ($90 plus up to $1,500 of onboarding) at every seat count. For 20 seats over three years that's $56,880 against $66,300. HubSpot Starter at $20 is cheaper than Attio Plus at $35, but both stop at 10 seats.
How many seats does Attio Plus allow?
Up to 10. Attio's plan card and compare table say "Up to 10 seats" for Plus. An FAQ on the same page describes Plus as having unlimited seats, so confirm in writing if you're near the limit. Pro and Enterprise are unlimited.
Does Attio have a startup discount?
Yes. Attio's startup program offers 80% off the annual Pro plan and credits in year one and 30% off in year two. It requires venture backing, signup within 90 days, a company less than 10 years old, and a workspace of up to 10 seats.
Does HubSpot Professional include SSO?
HubSpot's pricing page lists single sign-on on Professional and Enterprise, not Starter. Attio's FAQ puts SAML support on Enterprise, which is quote-only, so Attio Pro doesn't include it.
How much does HubSpot cost per seat in 2026?
On 2 October 2026, HubSpot listed Starter at $20 a seat (with a limited-time offer at $7), Professional at $90 on annual billing or $100 paid monthly with a 12-month commitment, and Enterprise at $175, annual only. Professional and Enterprise require onboarding, which HubSpot's catalog lists at $1,500 and $3,500.
Does Attio publish an Enterprise price?
No. Its pricing page says "Custom" and "Get a custom quote", billed annually. At 20 seats an Attio Enterprise quote has to be under about $92 a seat a month to beat HubSpot Professional's published three-year total.
