Which Seedance versions does Higgsfield have?

Higgsfield offers ByteDance's Seedance family from version 1.5 up to 2.5. Seedance 2.5 is the newest, with the longest clips. Higgsfield's Seedance help article calls it "ByteDance's multimodal video model family, available on Higgsfield and built for realistic motion". ByteDance's research team, ByteDance Seed, has its own Seedance page. Higgsfield doesn't make the model. It resells access through its own credit system.

The help article lists these versions, with the resolutions and clip lengths Higgsfield allows:

Seedance 2.5 also has a Draft Mode, added 22 September 2026: a cheaper 480p preview first, then a 1080p render of the one you pick. The changelog says it's available in "all regions except the US, where the provider doesn't offer the model". So if you're in the US, plan your budget without Draft Mode. Seedance 2.5 accepts up to 50 references per generation (30 images, 10 video clips, 10 audio files). Seedance 2.0 takes up to 9 images, 3 clips and 3 audio files.

Which Higgsfield plan includes which Seedance version?

Plus is the cheapest plan with every Seedance version. Starter gets only the two budget versions. The Starter card on Higgsfield's pricing page says "Access to Seedance 2.0 Fast & 2.0 Mini", while the Plus and Ultra cards say "Access to all Seedance models". The help center adds that Seedance 2.5 "isn't included in Starter".

Prices are in US dollars before tax, as served to us. Team and Scale need business verification and at least 2 or 5 seats. The help center still says Seedance 2.5 is "available on Pro and Plus plans and above" and not in "Starter and Basic". Pro and Basic are older plan names that existing subscribers may still have. The plans on sale today are Starter, Plus and Ultra.

How many credits does a Seedance clip cost on Higgsfield?

A 5-second Seedance clip costs between 2.5 and 110 credits, and resolution matters more than version. These are the figures Higgsfield's own cost check returned on 26 October 2026, for a 5-second clip with native audio on. Higgsfield says the audio toggle "doesn't change the cost".

Cost scales with length too. Higgsfield's help article says "Resolution and clip duration drive credit consumption", and a 30-second Seedance 2.5 clip spends far more than a 5-second one. The exact price is always on the Generate button before you confirm.

These quotes match the compare table on Higgsfield's pricing page for Seedance 2.0 (~22, ~60 and ~110 credits) and 2.0 Fast (~12 at 720p). They also explain the plan cards. Plus says 1,200 credits is "~80 Seedance 2.5 videos", which is 15 credits a video, the 480p, 5-second price. A 720p Seedance 2.5 clip costs 35 credits, so the same 1,200 credits buys about 34 of them.

What does a Seedance clip cost in dollars on each plan?

On Plus billed monthly, a 5-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p costs about $1.72, and a Seedance 2.0 clip at 4K about $5.41. We worked this out by dividing each plan's price by its credits, then multiplying by the credits per clip. It's our own arithmetic, not a Higgsfield price, and it assumes you use every credit in the month.

The cost of one credit, at the renewal price: Starter $19 ÷ 270 = $0.070. Plus monthly $59 ÷ 1,200 = $0.049. Plus yearly $47 ÷ 1,200 = $0.039. Ultra 3,000 monthly $129 ÷ 3,000 = $0.043. Ultra 3,000 yearly $99 ÷ 3,000 = $0.033.

Example: Starter's 270 credits buy about 21 Seedance 2.0 Fast clips at 720p (270 ÷ 12.5), or 54 Seedance 2.0 Mini clips at 720p (270 ÷ 5). The Starter card says "~15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos" but doesn't state the length or resolution, so a longer default clip would explain the gap. Failed generations usually refund their credits, so a failure doesn't cost you.

Which Higgsfield plan gets Seedance Unlimited?

On 26 October 2026, only the business plans did. Team listed Unlimited Seedance 2.0 at 720p (up to 15 s): 7 days on monthly billing, 14 on yearly. Scale listed Unlimited Seedance 2.5 at 720p (up to 25 s): 7 days monthly, 30 days yearly. The Starter, Plus and Ultra cards listed image models as Unlimited, and no Seedance version.

There's one other route: the Unlimited Models Marketplace. Higgsfield launched it in June 2026 with "Seedance 2.0, Enhanced Seedance 2.0 Fast & Mini" among the models you can buy Unlimited for, in 1, 7 or 14-day windows. Marketplace prices are shown only inside the product. The help center says marketplace video bundles run "1 generation at a time, up to 15 seconds".

Every Seedance Unlimited follows the general rules. It works only on the higgsfield.ai website, never through MCP, the CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer. Higgsfield's Seedance article says those "always deduct credits regardless of any Unlimited access on the web." Unlimited jobs also wait in the standard queue. Did Higgsfield change its Seedance Unlimited offer?

Yes. The Seedance Unlimited offer has changed several times since June, judging by Higgsfield's own changelog. When Seedance 2.5 launched on 6 August 2026, the changelog said "mid and upper plans include a 33-day unlimited window on Seedance 2.5". On 26 October no individual plan card listed any Seedance Unlimited. Here is the dated history:

Higgsfield's changelog doesn't say when the 33-day individual-plan window ended. If you bought a plan in August expecting it, check Manage Account, then Subscription, where the Active unlimited models table shows each window's expiry date. Why does Seedance block some prompts for IP?

Because Seedance runs its own copyright check on top of Higgsfield's, and Higgsfield can't overrule it. Higgsfield's IP help article says: "Some models, such as Seedance, also run their own separate IP check that Higgsfield can't override, similar to how external NSFW filters work."

Common triggers listed by Higgsfield are named fictional characters, sports teams and leagues, brand logos and the names of living artists. Reference images count too. Higgsfield's suggestions:

• Describe, don't name. Rephrase the prompt "in descriptive language" instead of naming a character, brand or artist.
• Swap the reference. A reference image with a recognisable character or logo can trigger the block, so try a neutral one.
• Use the rights button for your own material. If the blocked input is yours, the "I own the rights for this image" button can unblock it "when the input is eligible".
• Credits usually come back. Credits for IP-blocked generations "are returned automatically in most cases".

Higgsfield says blocks "apply platform-wide and can't be overridden for individual accounts". Generating protected characters and brands "isn't supported", so there's no setting that unlocks it.

What we couldn't verify

• Website prices versus our quotes. Our credit figures come from Higgsfield's cost check at standard rates. The Generate button on the website is the final word and can differ during promos.
• Seedance 1.5 Pro. Our quote was 4.8 credits for a 4-second 720p clip and 12 at 1080p. The pricing page's compare table lists "Seedance 1.5" at about 3 and 7 credits per 5 seconds. We can't tell which is current.
• Older Seedance versions on Starter. The Starter card names 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini. It doesn't say whether Seedance 1.5 Pro, Pro and Pro Fast are included.
• When the 33-day Seedance 2.5 Unlimited ended. The changelog announced it on 6 August and has no entry ending it.
• Marketplace pass prices. Higgsfield shows them only inside the product.
• Older plans. The pricing data still holds older plan blocks with a 7-day Seedance 1.5 Pro Unlimited (1080p, 12 s), marked "Buy until: October 27". We couldn't confirm who sees it.
• Other regions. We read prices from Europe. US visitors may be served a different plan set.

Our verdict

Seedance on Higgsfield is reasonably priced if you draft cheap and render once. Plus is the plan to pick if you want Seedance 2.5, since Starter doesn't include it. At about $1.72 a 720p clip on monthly Plus, 1,200 credits buys roughly 34 Seedance 2.5 clips of 5 seconds. Draft at 480p or with 2.0 Fast or Mini, and keep 1080p and 4K for the final.

Starter is fine if 2.0 Fast and Mini are enough, for example short social clips at 720p. Skip Higgsfield's individual plans if you're paying for Seedance Unlimited specifically: on 26 October none included it. Only Team and Scale did, at 720p and for a limited window.
