Which Higgsfield plan should I get? Starter vs Plus vs Ultra vs Team, by what you'll make

Most people making short videos every week land on Plus. Starter fits under about 38 short Kling clips a month, Ultra fits past roughly 170, and Team only makes sense when you need shared seats. Here's the clip math, the dollar per credit and the prices we were shown on 26 Oct 2026.

Higgsfield sells one product in seven shapes, and the plan names have changed more than once this year. That's why searches for "Higgsfield Basic" or "Higgsfield Pro" still turn up, and why other sites quote three different prices for Starter. This page is the picker. It starts from what you'll actually make each month and works back to a plan. If your question is whether Higgsfield is worth paying for at all, our Higgsfield pricing verdict covers that, and Higgsfield credits explained covers every credit rule in detail.

What Higgsfield plans can you buy right now?

On 26 October 2026 Higgsfield's pricing page sold four individual plans (Free, Starter, Plus and Ultra) and three business plans (Team, Scale and Enterprise). Ultra comes in three sizes: 3,000, 6,000 or 9,000 credits a month. Every paid plan bills monthly or yearly, and the yearly price is shown as a monthly figure "billed yearly".

Two things on that table move often. The first-month prices on Ultra 6,000, Ultra 9,000 and Team are one-time discounts; Higgsfield's help center says promo prices apply "to the first payment or the stated period only", then the plan renews at the standard price. And the page carried promotional banners on 26 October ("Annual 30% OFF", plus a 7-day Nano Banana deal on Ultra), which change without notice.

Plans also differ by more than credits. Higgsfield's plans help article says they vary by model access, monthly credits, parallel generations and Unlimited access, and that there's "no trial period". You can hold one subscription per account.

Which plan fits how much you'll make each month?

Divide the plan's monthly credits by the credit cost of the clip you make most. On 26 October Higgsfield priced a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 720p at about 7 credits, Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p at about 12, a 4-second Veo 3.1 Fast clip at about 16, and Seedance 2.0 at 720p at about 22. A Nano Banana Pro image cost 2 credits.

Starter 270 credits: 38 Kling 3.0 720p 5-second clips, 22 Seedance 2.0 Fast, 16 Veo 3.1 Fast 4-second, 12 Seedance 2.0 720p, 135 Nano Banana Pro images. Team per seat 1,000: 142, 83, 62, 45, 500. *Starter's card lists "Access to Seedance 2.0 Fast & 2.0 Mini" and "selected models", not full Seedance 2.0, so that cell is theoretical.

The arithmetic for one row, so you can redo it with your own model: Plus gives 1,200 credits. 1,200 ÷ 7 = 171.4, so about 171 Kling 3.0 clips at 720p, or about 14 minutes of 5-second footage. 1,200 ÷ 22 = 54.5, so about 54 Seedance 2.0 clips, or about 4.5 minutes. Swap in the cost on your Generate button and the same division works for any model.

Treat these as ceilings, not promises. They assume one take per clip and every credit spent. Re-rolls cost credits, batches of 2 to 4 are "charged separately", and longer or higher-resolution clips cost more. Higgsfield's own card math runs lower than ours: the Starter card says 270 credits is "~15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos", where our 5-second arithmetic gives 22, and the plan picker prices an 8-second Kling 3.0 clip at "≈ 14 credits". If you re-roll twice per keeper, divide the table by three.

A rough picker from that table:

  • Fewer than about 38 short clips or 135 images a month, and you can live without the full model list: Starter.
  • About 40 to 170 short clips a month, or you need Seedance 2.5, Higgsfield Speak, characters or the UGC builder: Plus. Those features are ✕ on Starter in the compare table.
  • More than about 170 Kling clips or 54 Seedance 2.0 clips a month: Ultra 3,000, then the larger Ultra sizes as volume grows.
  • Two or more people who need their own logins on one bill: Team or Scale.

How much does one Higgsfield credit cost on each plan?

Bigger plans buy cheaper credits. On the prices we were shown on 26 October, one credit cost about $0.070 on Starter, $0.049 on Plus monthly and $0.030 on Ultra 9,000 billed yearly. Business plans cost more per credit than Plus, because you're paying for seats and team features.

Bar chart of dollars per Higgsfield credit by plan, read 26 Oct 2026 at renewal prices: Team monthly $0.079, Starter $0.070, Scale monthly $0.068, Team annual $0.065, Scale annual $0.060, Plus monthly $0.049, Ultra 3,000 monthly $0.043, Ultra 6,000 and 9,000 monthly $0.042, Plus annual $0.039, Ultra 3,000 annual $0.033, Ultra 6,000 annual $0.032, Ultra 9,000 annual $0.030.

The formula is dollars per credit = monthly price ÷ monthly credits, then cost per clip = credits per clip × dollars per credit. Both assume you spend every credit. Higgsfield's FAQ says "Subscription credits do not roll over and expire at the end of each credit cycle", so credits you leave unused raise your real price per clip.

That gives one useful upgrade test. Ultra 3,000 costs $70 a month more than Plus and adds 1,800 credits. Buying those 1,800 credits through Auto-Refill at $1 = 18 credits would cost $100. So if you regularly need more than about 2,460 credits a month (1,200 + 70 × 18), Ultra is cheaper than Plus plus top-ups. One caveat: Higgsfield says Auto-Refill is "not available on entry-level plans" and doesn't name them, so check it's offered on your plan before relying on it.

Should you pay monthly or yearly?

Pay yearly only on Plus or Ultra, and only once you know you'll keep using Higgsfield. Starter costs $19 either way, and the page says "No difference compared to monthly". Plus billed yearly saves $144 a year ($564 against $708), and Ultra 3,000 saves $360 ($1,188 against $1,548).

First purchase, no credits used, fee up to 6%

The catch is getting out. Higgsfield's billing-switch article allows monthly to annual at any time, applied immediately with a prorated charge. Going back from annual to monthly is only possible inside the refund conditions: within 7 days of the first purchase with no credits used, in which case the 11 unused months are refunded minus a fee of up to 6%. After that, the annual plan runs to the end of its year.

Two smaller differences:

  • Credits still arrive monthly on a yearly plan. Annual plans reset credits "every 30 days", so the reset day drifts across the calendar. You don't get 12 months of credits up front.
  • Yearly plans got more extras on 26 October. The plan cards gave annual Plus and Ultra an extra 7-day Unlimited model (Kling 3.0) and bigger free-generation pools than the monthly versions. Plus annual also showed "Unlimited paid parallel generations".

What does each plan include besides credits?

Starter is a reduced plan, Plus unlocks every model and feature, and Ultra adds more capacity and Unlimited extras. The compare table on Higgsfield's pricing page marks characters, Higgsfield Speak (talking avatars), the UGC builder, Higgsfield ads and priority access to new models as included on Plus and Ultra, not on Starter or Free.

A few notes on that table:

  • Watermark. Higgsfield's watermark article says free accounts get a visible watermark on every generation and any paid plan removes it. There's no paid one-off removal.
  • Commercial use. The compare table says "Not included" for Free. Higgsfield's ownership article says commercial rights "follow from the Terms of Use for all users", and the Terms say Higgsfield doesn't "restrict your commercial use of Outputs". The two pages don't agree on Free; every paid plan is listed as included. More in can you sell Higgsfield images.
  • Parallel jobs. The Plus and Ultra cards also say "Unlimited paid parallel generations (NEW)" (Plus only on annual), while the compare table lists 6 and 8 video jobs. We couldn't tell which applies to your account.
  • Unlimited is web-only. Higgsfield's footnote says Unlimited models and free generations "are accessible only via higgsfield.ai and are not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer." Through those tools, every plan spends credits.
  • A 365-day Unlimited bundle may be ending. The cards listed 365-day Unlimited on several image models. The data behind the page says "Buy until: October 27", so this bundle may be gone by the time you read this.

When does Team, Scale or Enterprise make sense?

Choose a business plan when several people need their own logins on one shared bill, not to save money. A two-seat Team plan costs $158 a month ($138 in the first month) for 2,000 credits, while one Ultra 3,000 plan costs $129 for 3,000 credits. Team's value is the shared workspace and seats.

The Individual tab sums up the team range as "2–15 seats per workspace", "Up to 37,500 credits/mo pooled" and "From $65 per seat/month". Scale's monthly price carried a 22% discount labelled "forever" on 26 October (list price $215 a seat).

The Business cards also showed "Indemnification", "No training on your data" and "SOC 2 security (coming soon)" under security and compliance. Higgsfield's Team and Business help article lists no-training and indemnification as Enterprise features, so if those matter to your legal team, get them in writing from sales. Training on content matters here: Higgsfield's Terms let it train on inputs and outputs unless you're on an Enterprise agreement.

Why do other sites list different Higgsfield prices, or plans called Basic, Pro or Max?

Because Higgsfield shows different visitors different plan sets. The pricing page we were served loaded plan set ps_a3. Higgsfield's own price data, which the page reads, also answers for more than 20 other plan-set keys, and several of them sell plans with other names, credits and prices. Higgsfield doesn't say who gets which set.

We requested each plan set from that price data on 26 October from Denmark. A sample:

That explains the conflicting numbers you'll find elsewhere: Starter at $15 or $19, Plus at $39, $47, $49 or $59. They can all be real, for different visitors. Some sets also offer a third billing period between monthly and yearly. Team and Scale were the same price in every set that listed them.

The dollar per credit barely moves between sets. Plus at 1,000 credits for $49 is $0.049 a credit, the same as 1,200 for $59. Pro at 600 for $29 is $0.048. Basic at 70 for $5 is $0.071, close to Starter. The sets mostly change the size of the bundle, not the rate.

On the legacy names:

  • Basic, Pro and Max are live names in some of Higgsfield's plan sets, as above. We didn't see them on the page served to us, so we can't confirm who can buy them today.
  • Ultimate and Creator appear only as older plan blocks inside the pricing page's configuration (Ultimate with 1,200 credits, Creator with 6,000). No plan set we requested returned them. Treat them as retired names; existing subscribers may still hold them.
  • No official mapping exists. Higgsfield doesn't publish a "Pro is now Plus" table. The nearest hint is the Seedance help article, which says Seedance 2.5 "is available on Pro and Plus plans and above and isn't included in Starter and Basic". That groups Pro with Plus and Basic with Starter for model access, nothing more.

Whatever names your page shows, the arithmetic in this guide still works: divide the price by the credits, then the credits by the cost of your clip.

Price any Higgsfield plan in three steps
  1. Read the price and credits

    Plus, $59 for 1,200 credits

  2. Price ÷ credits

    About $0.049 a credit

  3. Credits ÷ cost of your clip

  4. Allow for re-rolls

What we couldn't verify

  • Which plan set you'll see. We read the page from Denmark. Higgsfield doesn't publish how it assigns plan sets, so a US visitor or a returning one may see different plans.
  • Whether Basic, Pro or Max can be bought today, and by whom.
  • Exact clip costs on Seedance 2.5, Kling 4.0 and Sora 2. They're not in the public compare table. The Plus card implies about 15 credits per "Seedance 2.5 video" (1,200 credits ≈ 80 videos) without stating length or resolution.
  • What the Free plan's daily allowance is. The page says "Limited use" and the configuration says "Limited daily credits", with no number.
  • Credit Pack prices. Higgsfield shows them only at checkout.
  • Which plans count as "entry-level" for Auto-Refill.
  • Whether the 365-day Unlimited bundle ended on 27 October.
  • Which Team and Scale security items are actually ticked on the cards. The help center lists them as Enterprise features.

Our verdict

For most solo creators making short videos every week, Plus is the plan to start on. It's the cheapest plan with every model, Seedance 2.5 and the avatar and UGC tools, and on our arithmetic it covers about 171 short Kling clips or 54 Seedance 2.0 clips a month. Move to Ultra once you're regularly topping up past about 2,460 credits a month. Pay yearly only after a month of real use, because annual plans are hard to undo after 7 days.

Who should pick something else:

  • Pick Starter if you mainly make images or a few dozen short clips a month and don't need Seedance 2.5 or the avatar tools. Don't pay yearly for it; it's the same $19.
  • Stay on Free while you're only testing prompts. Outputs carry a watermark and there are no credits. Our free plan guide covers the limits.
  • Pick Team or Scale only for shared seats and admin. Per credit they cost more than Plus.
  • Skip Higgsfield if a surprise renewal would hurt. Trustpilot showed a 4.0 score from about 5,170 reviews on 26 October, and recent complaints focus on charges, refunds and price, not output quality.

How to sign up safely: buy only on higgsfield.ai, since Higgsfield says it has no mobile or desktop app and no resellers. Check the plan name, credits and renewal price at checkout, because first-month discounts end. Refunds are possible only on a first purchase, within 7 days, with no credits used and a fee of up to 6%. Our cancel and refund guide has the steps.

For regular short-video work, Plus. On the prices we were shown on 26 Oct 2026 it costs $59 a month or $47 billed yearly for 1,200 credits, about 171 five-second Kling 3.0 clips at 720p, and it unlocks every model. Starter ($19, 270 credits) suits light use; Ultra ($129 or $99 yearly, 3,000 credits) suits heavy use.
What's the difference between Higgsfield Starter and Plus?
Plus has about 4.4 times the credits (1,200 against 270), all models including Seedance 2.5, characters, Higgsfield Speak and the UGC builder, 6 video jobs at once instead of 2, and 7-day Unlimited on Nano Banana 2. Starter costs $19; Plus costs $59 monthly or $47 billed yearly.
Is the Higgsfield yearly plan worth it?
On Plus and Ultra, yes if you'll keep using it: yearly saves $144 a year on Plus and $360 on Ultra 3,000. On Starter it saves nothing. You can't switch back from yearly to monthly after the 7-day refund window, and credits still arrive every 30 days, not all at once.
How much is Higgsfield Ultra?
On 26 Oct 2026, Ultra 3,000 cost $129 a month or $99 billed yearly. Ultra 6,000 cost $250 a month ($220 first month) or $193.50 yearly, and Ultra 9,000 cost $375 a month ($310 first month) or $270 yearly. Ultra 9,000 yearly is Higgsfield's cheapest credit, about $0.030.
How much is the Higgsfield Team plan?
$79 a seat a month ($69 for the first month) or $65 a seat billed yearly, with 1,000 credits a seat and at least 2 seats. Scale costs $169.01 a seat monthly or $150.01 yearly with 2,500 credits a seat, for 5 to 15 seats. Enterprise is priced by sales.
Are Higgsfield Basic and Pro plans still available?
Not on the page we were shown on 26 Oct 2026, which sold Starter, Plus and Ultra. Higgsfield's price data still includes plan sets with Basic, Pro and Max plans at other prices, so some visitors may see them. Ultimate and Creator appear only as old configuration entries.
