How much does Kling 4.0 cost on Higgsfield? Credits, plans and the cheaper option

A 5-second Kling 4.0 clip at 1080p costs 10 credits on Higgsfield's Generate button right now, half its listed 20 during the launch discount. No plan makes it Unlimited. Kling 3.0 is cheaper still, and Seedance 2.5 is not the bargain it looks.

Kling 4.0 arrived on Higgsfield on 21 October. If you're deciding whether to pay for it, three things matter: what one clip costs, which plan gets you in, and whether a cheaper model does the job. For how credits work in general, see Higgsfield credits explained.

What is Kling 4.0 on Higgsfield?

Higgsfield's changelog entry reads: "Kling's new video model is now on Higgsfield. It generates from text, an image, or a set of references and can edit finished clips." Compared with Kling 3.0, it lists, "per Kling":

  • Motion: "more stable in fast scenes such as fights, sports, and character interaction, with stronger camera work"
  • Keyframes: "up to 10 across the video instead of first and last frame only"
  • References: "up to 15, including images, up to 5 videos, a voice reference, and Elements"
  • Video Editing: "swap a character, product, background, camera angle, or style in a finished clip"
  • Output: "3 to 30 seconds, 720p or 1080p, aspect ratios from 21:9 to 9:16, stereo sound, and voiceover in 9 languages"

Those are Kling's claims as Higgsfield reports them. We haven't tested them.

How many credits does a Kling 4.0 clip cost?

Kling 4.0 is priced per second. On 27 October the Generate button showed 2 credits a second at 1080p (4 before the discount), so length drives the bill more than anything.

Plans with Kling 4.0 Unlimited

Kling 3.0 is 7-day Unlimited on Plus and Ultra

To turn credits into dollars we divided each plan's yearly-billed monthly price by its monthly credits, as listed on the pricing page:

  • Starter: $19 / 270 credits = about $0.070 a credit
  • Plus: $47 / 1,200 credits = about $0.039 a credit
  • Ultra: $99 / 3,000 credits = $0.033 a credit

That's our arithmetic and it assumes you use every credit. Plus is $59 and Ultra $129 billed monthly, which makes each credit dearer.

Credits for Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 come from each model's Generate button; Kling 3.0 from the pricing page's table, marked "~" there. Dollar columns are ours. When the launch discount ends, the Kling 4.0 rows roughly double if the listed price holds: a 5-second 1080p clip would cost about $0.78 on Plus.

Which plan do you need for Kling 4.0?

The Starter card says "Access to selected models only" and names Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, so we couldn't confirm Kling 4.0 is on it. Plus is the cheapest plan whose card says "Access to all models & features". At 10 credits a clip, Plus's 1,200 credits cover about 120 five-second 1080p clips a month while the discount lasts, or about 60 at the listed price. Ultra's 3,000 cover about 300, or 150. That's our division, before anything else you generate.

Our plans compared page goes through every plan card line by line.

Is Kling 4.0 Unlimited on any Higgsfield plan?

No. On 27 October the Unlimited lists read: Starter, no Unlimited models; Plus, Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0 at "7-day unlimited"; Ultra, those two plus Nano Banana Pro. The business plans add 30-day Unlimited Seedance 2.5 and list Kling 3.0, not 4.0. The page also says Unlimited models "are accessible only via higgsfield.ai and are not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer", and that Unlimited "may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments during high-traffic periods". Our Unlimited guide covers the rules.

When is Kling 3.0 or Seedance 2.5 the better buy?

Kling 3.0 is the cheaper Kling. Per 5 seconds it's listed at ~7 credits at 720p and ~8 at 1080p, and on Plus and Ultra it's Unlimited for 7 days. If you don't need Kling 4.0's 10 keyframes, 15 references, clip editing or clips longer than 15 seconds (Kling 3.0's generator caps at 15), draft and finish on Kling 3.0.

Seedance 2.5 is not the cheaper option on credits. At 35 credits for 5 seconds at 720p and 80 at 1080p, it cost several times more than Kling 4.0 on 27 October. Higgsfield's own model guide recommends Seedance for realistic human motion; pay for it when that's the job. Its Draft mode was 15 credits for 5 seconds at 480p. Our Seedance cost guide has every version.

About 7 to 8 credits, Unlimited for 7 days on Plus and Ultra

  3. Realistic people are the whole point?

    Seedance 2.5, 35 to 80 credits per 5 s

  4. Check the Generate button before you confirm

What we couldn't verify

  • When the discount ends. The changelog says only "a limited time, as of October 21, 2026".
  • Kling 4.0's earlier quote. On 26 October Higgsfield's cost check returned 2.5 credits for 5 seconds at 720p; on 27 October the Generate button showed 7.5. We use the button, which Higgsfield names as the source.
  • Starter access. Its card doesn't name Kling 4.0.
  • Region. Higgsfield serves different plan sets by region, so your prices may differ.
