Salesforce replaced Enterprise, Unlimited and Agentforce 1 on 3 September 2026. Core costs $20 a user more than Enterprise did, Advanced $45 more than Unlimited, and Max nothing more than Agentforce 1. Here is what each step adds, and the bill at 5, 20 and 50 users.
On 3 September 2026 Salesforce rebuilt its Sales Cloud price list. Enterprise, Unlimited and Agentforce 1 Sales left the page. Core, Advanced and Max took their places, at higher prices for the first two and the same price for the third.
Most pages that rank for Salesforce pricing were written before that date and still quote $175 Enterprise. So we read Salesforce's pricing page, its compare table, its 3 September announcement and an archived copy of the old page on 27 September 2026, and did the math at 5, 20 and 50 users. aliteq is a US company, so every figure is a US list price in dollars. Salesforce doesn't pay us, and we didn't buy or trial Sales Cloud; we read Salesforce's own pages.

The five editions and what they cost
Starter Suite is $25 a user a month, billed monthly or annually. Pro Suite is $100, Core $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550, all billed annually. There is also a Free Suite at $0, which we leave out of the math.
The new ladder, with each legacy edition next to the edition Salesforce compares it with. · aliteq research
"Billed annually" is the line to notice. Above Starter, Salesforce's page offers no monthly price. Its FAQ adds that "Most Salesforce products use annual contracts, but Salesforce subscription terms vary." Budget a year of seats up front for anything from Pro Suite up.

How the old editions map to the new ones
Salesforce's own announcement pairs each new edition with a legacy one. Core is compared with "legacy Enterprise Edition", Advanced with "legacy Unlimited Edition", and Max with "Agentforce 1 Edition", at "zero pricing change".
The archived pricing page from 25 August 2026 shows the old prices: Enterprise $175, Unlimited $350 and Agentforce 1 Sales $550, all billed annually. Starter Suite and Pro Suite kept their prices.

Salesforce says Core offers "70% more value" than Enterprise and Max "nearly 60% more value" than Agentforce 1. Those are Salesforce's marketing figures, not ours. What we can check is the compare table, and the diff between the old and new tables shows three concrete changes at the Core level:
Premier Success Plan moved from "Available for purchase" on Enterprise to included on Core. Salesforce prices Premier at "30% of net license fees".
Tableau Next moved from a paid add-on to included.
Flex Credits are new: Core includes 500,000 a year. The old Enterprise column had none.
The Premier change does most of the work. At the 30% rate on a $175 list price, Enterprise plus Premier came to about $227.50 a user a month. Core is $195 with Premier included. If you never bought Premier, though, Core is simply $20 more.
For existing customers, Salesforce says: "Existing customer pricing on legacy editions remains unchanged." Agentforce 1 Edition customers "can upgrade at no extra cost" to Max. The announcement doesn't say what happens to Enterprise or Unlimited pricing at renewal, so ask your account executive in writing.
What each step adds
Pro Suite to Core adds the API, pipeline tools and AI credits. Core to Advanced is the biggest jump in price, and it buys security and testing tools. Advanced to Max buys Salesforce's sales agents.
Read from the compare table on Salesforce's Sales Cloud pricing page, 27 Sep 2026. · aliteq research
Pro Suite to Core (+$95). The Web Services API is included instead of $25 a user extra. You get one partial sandbox, approval processes and unlimited Flow Builder, where Pro Suite stops at five flows. Core also adds advanced forecasting and pipeline management, pipeline inspection, opportunity scoring, conversation intelligence, sales territories, Premier support, Tableau Next, Slack Business+ and 500,000 Flex Credits.
Core to Advanced (+$200). One full sandbox is included, where Core lists it as a purchase. Security Center, Trusted Services, lead scoring, predictive forecasting and Agentforce Account Research are included. The card also lists "Backup & Recover, Archive, Data Detect" and Sales Programs. Flex Credits double to 1 million.
Advanced to Max (+$155). Agentforce for Sales and its agents (Lead Nurture, Pipeline Management, Prospecting and Employee Agent Sales Actions) are included instead of "Available for purchase". Max also bundles Salesforce Spiff, Sales Planning, Sales Programs, Salesforce Maps and Slack Enterprise+, with 2.75 million Flex Credits.
Storage changes shape too. The compare table lists Core at "10GB/Org +20MB/User" and Advanced and Max at "1GB/User". As the table reads, a 20-user org gets about 10.4 GB on Core and 20 GB on Advanced. At 5 users, Advanced's 5 GB is less than Core's, and the table states no minimum. Confirm storage with Salesforce if you're small.
What it costs at 5, 20 and 50 users
For 20 users over three years at list price, Core costs $140,400, Advanced $284,400 and Max $396,000. The formula is users times the monthly price times 12 times the number of years.
Three years, annual billing, list price. Pro Suite includes its $25 API add-on because Core includes the API. · aliteq research

Enterprise mode uses the cheapest plan whose pricing page lists SAML SSO. Where a vendor doesn't list SAML, it uses the plan an enterprise-selling team would typically need and says so.
List prices in USD from HubSpot (pricing page price data), Salesforce, Pipedrive, Attio, Close, Folk, Zoho and Twenty, all read 27 Sep 2026. Before promotions, startup programmes, negotiation and tax. Onboarding is HubSpot's catalog fee, which its checkout didn't show, so it's “up to”. “Not listed” means the pricing page has no SAML row, not that the vendor can't do it. AI credits past the included allowance aren't counted.
Included Flex Credits, per user
Core includes 500,000 Flex Credits per org a year, Advanced 1 million and Max 2.75 million. The allowance is per org, not per user, so it goes further in a small team.
Salesforce's Agentforce page prices Flex Credits at $500 per 100,000 and charges 20 credits per Agentforce action. That makes one action $0.10 at list. By that math, Core's allowance covers 25,000 actions a year, Advanced 50,000 and Max 137,500.

Two rules from the Agentforce page matter here. Unused Flex Credits "do not roll over into subsequent subscription terms". And voice actions cost 30 credits, not 20. What a sales team actually burns through, and how that compares with HubSpot's credits, is in what AI adds to your CRM bill.
Add-ons that change the math
The pricing page lists several add-ons with "From" prices. These are starting prices, not quotes.
Web Services API on Pro Suite: "Additional $25 USD/user/month". Included from Core.
Agentforce for Sales: "From $125 USD/user/month" on Core and Advanced; included on Max.
Sales Programs: "From $100 USD/user/month"; included from Advanced.
Revenue Intelligence: "From $220 USD/user/month".
Revenue Cloud: "From $200 USD/user/month".
Premier Success Plan: "30% of net license fees" where it isn't included.
The Agentforce add-on sets up a real decision. Advanced plus Agentforce for Sales starts at $520 a user a month. Max is $550 and also adds 1.75 million more Flex Credits, Spiff, Sales Planning, Maps and Slack Enterprise+. If you'd buy the add-on on Advanced anyway, price Max too.
What Salesforce still doesn't publish
The pricing page and compare table don't list SAML single sign-on, audit trail or SOC 2 report access by edition. We tried Salesforce Help and the Salesforce Compliance site on 27 September 2026. Here is what those pages say, and what they don't.
SAML SSO. Salesforce Help says "Federated Authentication is available in: All Editions". The article still uses the legacy edition names and doesn't mention Core, Advanced, Max or the Suites by name.
Setup Audit Trail. Help lists it in Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited and other legacy editions, with 180 days of setup history to download. After that, the records are deleted.
Field Audit Trail. Help says it's available "with the purchase of Salesforce Shield or Field Audit Trail licenses". It doesn't give a price. Advanced's card lists Backup and Recover, Archive, Data Detect and Security Center, but no page we read says Field Audit Trail is included.
SOC 2 report. Salesforce's compliance site lists SOC 2 reports covering its core services, including Sales Cloud, with the latest period ending 30 April 2026. Every version says "Login to download". We couldn't confirm which editions or customers can log in to get it.
So on the evidence we could read: SAML SSO is listed for all editions, basic setup audit history is standard, long-term field history is a paid add-on, and SOC 2 report access is behind a login. If a buyer's security questionnaire depends on any of these, get the answer from Salesforce in writing before you sign. Your CRM is part of your SOC 2 scope either way.
Which edition fits which team
Pick the lowest edition that clears your must-haves today, because every step up is billed on every seat for the whole year.
Five sellers, no integrations yet: Pro Suite at $100 covers quoting, forecasting and a developer sandbox. Add the $25 API only when you sync product data.
You need the API and a sandbox to test changes: Core at $195. The API alone makes Pro Suite $125, and Core adds a partial sandbox, approvals and Premier support.
Enterprise buyers ask about data security and change testing: Advanced at $395 includes a full sandbox and Security Center. Confirm SSO and audit needs in writing first.
You plan to run Salesforce's sales agents across the team: compare Advanced plus the $125-and-up Agentforce add-on with Max at $550.
Model three years, not one. Annual billing locks the seat count for each term, and unused Flex Credits expire at the end of it.
$195 per user a month, billed annually, on Salesforce's Sales Cloud pricing page on 27 September 2026. For 20 users that's $46,800 a year or $140,400 over three years at list price. It includes 500,000 Flex Credits per org a year.
What replaced Salesforce Enterprise Edition?
Salesforce's 3 September 2026 announcement pairs Core ($195) with legacy Enterprise ($175), Advanced ($395) with legacy Unlimited ($350), and Max ($550) with Agentforce 1 Edition ($550). Salesforce says existing customer pricing on legacy editions remains unchanged.
What is the difference between Salesforce Core and Advanced?
Advanced costs $200 more per user a month. It adds an included full sandbox, Security Center, lead scoring, predictive forecasting, Agentforce Account Research, Backup and Recover, Archive and Data Detect, and doubles the Flex Credits from 500,000 to 1 million a year.
Can I pay for Salesforce monthly?
Only Starter Suite, at $25 per user a month, is listed as billed monthly or annually. Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max are all listed as billed annually.
How many Flex Credits come with Salesforce Max?
2.75 million per org a year, according to the Sales Cloud pricing page. At 20 credits per Agentforce action, that's 137,500 actions a year. The Agentforce pricing page lists 2.5 million for its Agentforce 1 Editions card, a different product listing.
Does Salesforce Core include SSO?
Salesforce's pricing page doesn't say. Salesforce Help says SAML federated authentication is available in "All Editions", but it uses the legacy edition names. Confirm SSO for Core in writing with Salesforce before relying on it.
