How do I get free Higgsfield credits (or free generations)?

People searching for free Higgsfield credits usually hope for one of three things: a daily allowance, a referral bonus or a code. On 26 October 2026 none of those worked the way the search results suggest. The free routes that are real all ask for something in return: a good entry, published work or time in the community.

Does the Higgsfield free plan give you any credits?

No. Higgsfield's free plan comes with 0 credits. The Compare table on the Higgsfield pricing page lists "Credits: 0" for Free and describes the plan as "Limited use". The plans help article says there's "no trial period" and that you can "explore the platform on the free tier with a limited set of models".

So the free plan isn't a credit balance that refills. It's a way to look around. Two more limits matter if you plan to use what you make. Every free-account output carries a visible Higgsfield watermark (our Higgsfield watermark guide covers the rules), and the Compare table lists commercial use as "Not included" on Free. What are the official ways to get free Higgsfield credits?

There are five, and every one runs through higgsfield.ai or Higgsfield's own Discord: contest prizes, Discord challenge rewards, community rating milestones, grants and promo codes. A sixth, the Creator Partnership Program, gives accepted creators a plan and extra credits. Here's each one with what it pays, who qualifies and where Higgsfield says so.

Credits you win or earn this way are promotional credits. Section 9.5 of the Higgsfield Terms of Use says they "may expire as specified on issuance", have no cash value and are non-transferable. The Weekly Challenge, for example, says its prize credits "arrive within 7 days and are valid for 90 days", according to the 21 October changelog entry.

Can a free account win Higgsfield credits in a contest?

Yes. Higgsfield's contests help article says "Any registered Higgsfield account can enter and win, free or paid", as long as you're 18 or older and not barred by sanctions. Prizes are "paid in Higgsfield credits or in US dollars", depending on the contest.

The contest to know is the Weekly Challenge, which moved from Discord to higgsfield.ai on 21 October 2026. The first round, "Impossible Camera", ran from 21 to 28 October with a 60,000-credit pool: 30,000 for first place, 20,000 for second, 10,000 for third, plus five honorable mentions. The entry is a film of exactly 120 seconds, 16:9 or 21:9, and every AI generation has to happen inside the contest project in Cinema Studio. A new brief comes every week.

There's a catch the rules don't spell out. Making a two-minute film takes generations, and a free account starts with 0 credits. Free accounts are allowed in, but most winning entries will be made by people who already pay.

The bigger one-off contests pay more but are rarer. The contests page listed the Global Film Festival ($1,000,000 pool) in jury review on 26 October, with the Adathon ($85,000 in credits), the Apps Contest ($100,000) and "Make Your Action Scene" ($500,000) already finished. One rule to know before you enter: Higgsfield says your entry's "prompts and generation history later become publicly viewable".

Can you earn free Higgsfield credits on Discord?

Yes, in small amounts. Higgsfield's Discord community article says "the Daily Soul Challenge, the Weekly Challenge, and monthly awards all reward active members with credits, and community members can also receive promo codes during events."

• Daily Soul Challenge. A new theme every day in #daily-soul. You make an image with a Soul model (Soul, Soul 2.0 or Soul Cinema) and post it with the link to your generation. "The team picks three winners each day", and each gets a credit reward. Higgsfield doesn't publish the amount.
• Monthly awards. The most active members are recognized "with roles and credits" each month.
• Promo codes at events. Streams and community events can hand out codes to active participants.

The official server is discord.com/invite/higgsfield. Higgsfield says its team accounts "will never ask for your password or payment details", which is a useful test for any "admin" who messages you about free credits.

How do Higgsfield's community milestones pay credits?

Higgsfield Community pays credits when your rating reaches 100, 500 and 1,000 points. The rating and achievements article lists 5,000 credits at 100 points, 75,000 at 500 and 200,000 at 1,000. Rewards appear with a Claim button in the Ranking tab, and "Unclaimed credits don't expire".

Points don't come from likes, views or generating. They come from a short list of actions, so we worked out the quickest path to the first 5,000 credits from Higgsfield's own table:

So the realistic minimum is three verified projects. Verification isn't automatic approval: a project goes to manual review only after it reaches "at least 30 likes and 30 generations inside it", according to Higgsfield's community projects article. Two other actions pay directly: a blog post that Higgsfield approves and that gets 20+ likes earns +20 points and "up to 5,000" credits, and having your work featured by Higgsfield earns +50 points and "up to 200,000" credits.

Grants

Higgsfield Grants award "up to 200,000 generation credits to selected published Open Projects," per the Community help article. The two Higgsfield pages disagree on how you get in. The help article says "You apply from the Grants page", while the Grants page said on 26 October: "Our team reviews published projects every week and awards credit grants to selected creators. No application needed." Either way, the way in is publishing strong work.

Does Higgsfield have a referral program for free credits?

Not for users, as of 26 October 2026. Higgsfield ran an invite-friends program from 13 July 2026 that gave up to 7 days of Unlimited Seedance 2.0 (720p, 8 seconds), and the changelog now says: "Update: the referral program ended on July 16, 2026." It only ever paid when a friend bought a Plus or Pro monthly plan or higher and made a paid generation within 24 hours.

Higgsfield's current Affiliate Program, launched 24 August 2026, is a different thing. It pays affiliates a commission in money (up to 25% on qualifying subscriptions), not credits, and anyone who signs up through an affiliate link gets "up to 50% off for three hours". aliteq is in that program, which the disclosure at the end of this page explains. Higgsfield Earn, its paid-campaign platform for creators, also pays money through Garna rather than credits.

The pattern is clear: Higgsfield's free offers are short and dated, and the big ones need a paid plan or a card. The help center now says there's no trial period, so treat any "free trial" you read about as a past promotion unless Higgsfield's own pages show it today.

What free generations come with Higgsfield's paid plans?

Every paid Higgsfield plan includes a one-time pool of free generations on specific tools. Higgsfield's credits article calls them "a one-time pool granted when you purchase the plan" and says they "do not renew upon your subscription renewal". They don't touch your credit balance, and they work only on higgsfield.ai, not through MCP or the CLI.

The biggest pool is for Soul 2.0 and Soul Cinema images. To show what it's worth, we priced each pool at Soul 2.0's listed rate of 0.12 credits per image, then at each plan's own price per credit:

The other pools are smaller: AI Influencer 10 free generations on Starter and 30 on Plus and Ultra, Ads Studio 10 on every paid plan, and Genjutsu at 720p 2 on Plus or Ultra monthly and 3 on annual, with none on Starter. Do Higgsfield credit generators or unlimited hacks work?

No. Higgsfield credits are a balance stored in your account on Higgsfield's own servers, and nothing outside higgsfield.ai can add to it. A site, app, Telegram bot or "tool" that promises free or unlimited Higgsfield credits can't deliver them. What it can do is take your login or card details.

Higgsfield says so directly. Its official platforms article says: "Free generations live on the website too. Offers of 'free Higgsfield' anywhere else are a common way to collect passwords and payment details." It adds that "no other site or app ever needs" your Higgsfield password, and that accounts or "Unlimited access" sold on Telegram, Discord or marketplaces aren't legit because "Accounts can't be resold".

How these offers usually work, and why each step should stop you:

• They ask for your Higgsfield login. Real promo codes go into your own account under Manage Account, then Promocode. No real offer needs your password.
• They ask you to "verify" with a survey, an app download or a card. That step is the payment. The US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on spam texts lists fake free prizes, gift cards and coupons as common bait for collecting personal details.
• They sell "unlimited" through a shared or resold account. Higgsfield says it doesn't sell transferable accounts or subscriptions through resellers, and its Unlimited fair-use rules ban "credential sharing, and reselling access".
• They suggest making extra accounts. Section 1.5 of the Terms of Use bans getting around usage limits "by creating multiple Accounts", and section 9.5 says promotional credits are non-transferable. Breaking the terms can cost you the account and any credits in it.

If you already typed your password into a copy, Higgsfield's advice is to reset it on higgsfield.ai through Sign in, then Forgot password, and contact Support. If you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft, secure that account instead. Our is Higgsfield legit page covers the company itself.

What we couldn't verify

• The Daily Soul Challenge prize. Higgsfield says each daily winner gets a credit reward but doesn't publish the amount.
• Whether a free account can make a full contest entry without buying credits. The free plan has 0 credits, and we didn't test which Cinema Studio models a free account can use.
• How Grants are awarded. The help center says you apply; the Grants page says no application is needed.
• Whether Activity Rewards still run. They launched on 9 July 2026 for Pro/Plus plans and above, and the tasks appear only inside a logged-in account.
• Whether AI Influencer's 5 free generations for every user are still on. The changelog said so "as of October 3, 2026"; the pricing page now lists 10 or 30 free AI Influencer generations on paid plans only.
• The MCP trial. A 22 August changelog entry offered new users a 3-day MCP trial with 100 MCP-only credits after card verification, renewing as a monthly Plus plan unless cancelled. The plans help article says there's no trial period, so we can't confirm it's still offered.
• Collab karma. Higgsfield's partnership article says karma "is earned inside the Higgsfield app through the Collab feature and exchanges into credits", but we found no published rate.
• Codes on Reddit, X or Discord. We couldn't read those sources for this check, and we list no codes.
• Whether visitors outside Europe see the same plan pools. Higgsfield serves different plan sets.

Our verdict

There's no free Higgsfield credit allowance and no working credit generator. If you want credits without paying, the honest routes are effort routes: enter the Weekly Challenge, post in the Daily Soul Challenge on the official Discord, and publish Open Projects that can earn rating milestones or a grant. They pay well when they pay, from 5,000 credits at 100 rating points to 30,000 for a weekly win, but nothing is guaranteed.

If you just want to make things, the free plan lets you try a limited set of models with a watermark. When that stops being enough, compare the paid plans' free generation pools, which are the only free generations you can count on. Skip anyone outside higgsfield.ai who offers free credits, and never give your Higgsfield password to another site.
