Kling Standard is the cheapest clean, commercial-use plan at $6.99 for the first month; Higgsfield's paid plans drop the visible mark across Kling, Seedance, Veo and Wan. Which plans export without a watermark, which allow business use, and the invisible markers that stay.

The best AI video generator with no watermark is Kling on its Standard plan, $6.99 for the first month, because it's the cheapest plan whose maker lists both watermark removal and commercial use; if you want several models without a visible mark, a paid Higgsfield plan does it from $19 (checked November 8, 2026). The free plans fail one test or the other: Pika's free exports carry no watermark but come with zero credits and no commercial license, and the free tiers of Kling, Hailuo, Wan, Dreamina and Higgsfield stamp a mark on every file. Every rule below is quoted from the maker's own pricing page, help center or terms, with the date we read it.
Watermark and commercial use, free plan vs paid plan (makers' own pages, Nov 3 to Nov 8, 2026)
Pika is the only maker whose free plan says its exports are clean. Its pricing page (last updated Oct 28, read Nov 8) answers "No. Free plan exports have no watermark", then lists the free plan's credits as "0 · credit packs only" and its commercial license as "Not included". A credit pack is "a one-off purchase and does not start a subscription", and the FAQ says buying packs doesn't add the commercial license. So Pika's free route gives you a clean file for personal use, after you've paid for a pack.
Google Flow is the other near-miss. Its credits page says a visible watermark is applied automatically only for users in India, South Korea and Vietnam who aren't on Ultra 20x; everyone else can switch "Visible watermarking" on or off. Every Flow clip still carries SynthID, Google's invisible marker, and Flow's help says only that Google won't claim ownership of what you make, pointing to Google's general terms. Google's own pages also disagree on whether a free account can use Flow at all; Is Veo 3 free covers that.
Everyone else marks free output:

Kling: free exports "generally include a watermark", and removing it is a membership benefit (what Kling's free plan includes).
Hailuo: "Free Users: Video downloads will include a watermark" (Hailuo's free trial).
Wan: watermark-free downloads are listed as a paid feature on create.wan.video.
Dreamina: the paid plans list "Remove the Dreamina watermark in downloads".
Higgsfield: "On a free account, every generation carries a Higgsfield watermark" (above).
Avatar tools: HeyGen's free videos are watermarked, and Synthesia's say "Videos carry a Synthesia watermark".
The cheapest paid plans that remove it, with commercial use
If the file is going into an ad, a client project or a monetised channel, you need both a clean export and the right to use it. These are the cheapest plans whose makers say both, from their own pages:
Cheapest monthly plan with no visible watermark and commercial use (makers' pages, Nov 3 to Nov 8, 2026)
Kling Standard, first month$6.99, then $8.80
Pika Starter$10 ($8 billed yearly)
Hailuo Standard$10.50
Runway Standard$15 ($12 billed yearly)
Higgsfield Starter$19
HeyGen Creator (avatars)$29 ($24 billed yearly)
Kling Standard adds 660 credits a month, 1080p, watermark removal and commercial use (Kling's credit guide, read Nov 8). One open question: Kling's general terms ask you to "prominently indicate" that output was made by Kling AI, and its paid terms, which otherwise say members' commercial use "is not restricted", don't address that clause. We cover it in Kling's client-work terms.
Pika Starter includes the commercial license and 600 credits a month. Pika 2.5 renders come back silent.
Hailuo Standard grants commercial use for content made "while on a paid subscription plan"; its watermark sentence names free users only.
Runway Standard lists "No watermarks", and Runway's terms say it "does not restrict your commercial use of your Outputs" on any plan.
Wan Pro ($10, or $5 a month billed yearly) unlocks watermark-free downloads, but its pricing page says nothing about commercial use, so it isn't in the chart. Developers calling Alibaba's Wan 2.7 API get a watermark parameter that defaults to off.
Dreamina Basic ($15) removes the watermark, but the Dreamina terms we read bar commercial use and we found no paid-plan exception.

Higgsfield: one paid plan, no visible watermark on any model
Higgsfield doesn't make most of the models it runs; it hosts Kling, Seedance, Google's Veo, Wan, MiniMax and xAI's Grok on one credit balance. Its watermark rule is set by the account, not the model: its help center says paid plans come without a watermark, including Unlimited and plan Free Generations. Its terms (s.4.4) say Higgsfield "does not claim ownership" of your outputs "nor does it restrict your commercial use of Outputs", you can transfer rights to a client, and those rights survive cancellation. One conflict to know: Higgsfield's pricing compare table lists commercial use as "Not included" on the free plan, so don't rely on free output for business.

Two things upgrading doesn't do. It doesn't clean files you made on the free plan: you regenerate them. And it doesn't remove invisible provenance: Higgsfield's terms (s.6.4) say it may embed machine-readable markers. Starter at $19 lists selected models only; Plus at $59 ($47 billed yearly) is the cheapest card listing every model. More detail in the Higgsfield watermark guide and Higgsfield commercial use.
Grok: the watermark you can't pay to remove
xAI's Grok Imagine is the one big generator with no watermark-free tier. Its help page answers the question directly:
xAI's Grok Help & FAQ (docs.x.ai/grok/faq), read November 8, 2026. Outline ours. · Screenshot of docs.x.ai by aliteq
The FAQ makes no exception for paid plans, and video on Grok starts at Premium, $30 a month. Grok Imagine models also run on Higgsfield; we haven't checked whether a Grok mark appears on Grok output there. Is Grok Imagine free has the plan details.
Don't remove watermarks, and expect labels anyway
We won't point you to watermark removers, for two reasons. First, it breaks the rules you agreed to: Hailuo's terms say you "must not remove, obscure, alter, or disable any watermark", and xAI's Acceptable Use Policy bans stripping or circumventing watermarks. Second, it doesn't make the video unlabelled. The invisible layer is the one platforms read:
TikTok requires creators "to label AI-generated or significantly edited content that shows realistic-looking scenes or people", and says "Unlabeled content may be removed, restricted, or labeled by our team" (Community Guidelines effective Sep 24, 2026).
Meta (Instagram, Facebook, Threads) reads C2PA and IPTC metadata for its "AI info" label and may penalise people who don't disclose realistic AI video.
YouTube says "We require creators to disclose AI-generated or altered content that seems realistic", through the "AI use" setting in YouTube Studio; YouTube's altered or synthetic content rule explains when it applies.
So the honest goal of "no watermark" is a clean-looking frame for a client or an ad, on a plan that grants the rights, with the AI disclosure done properly where the platform asks for it.
The best AI video generator for other jobs
Each page below answers one job from the same checked facts. All of them, grouped by job, are in our best AI video generator guide.
Best free AI video generator: Google Flow's 50 daily credits are the biggest free allowance; Dreamina's 120 a day is the US runner-up.
Best AI video generator for ads: A paid Higgsfield plan: its terms allow ads and client handover; Kling 3.0 tests a 5-second hook in any shape for 10 credits.
Best AI video generator app: Runway's app runs the most models on iPhone and Android; Pika's is iPhone-only; Higgsfield runs in the browser.
Runway's free-plan watermark. The pricing page is silent, and Runway's help center refused our automated reads.
Hailuo's paid output. Its terms name the watermark for free users; we didn't download a paid Hailuo file to confirm it's clean.
Commercial use on Wan's paid plans, Dreamina's paid plans and Synthesia's plans. We found no statement on the pages we read; Synthesia's terms we haven't read.
Luma. The only Luma page we found on watermarks and commercial use dates from May 2025 and uses old plan names.
Whether a Grok mark appears on Grok clips made on Higgsfield, and whether the xAI API adds a visible watermark.

Verdict
Pay for clean, commercial files
If you need a clean file you can use in business, pay for it: Kling Standard is the cheapest at $6.99 for the first month with watermark removal and commercial use on the card, and a paid Higgsfield plan removes the visible mark across Kling, Seedance, Veo, Wan and MiniMax with commercial use allowed by its terms. Pika's free plan is clean but uncredited and personal-use only. Skip Grok if a watermark is a dealbreaker, never strip a mark yourself, and still disclose realistic AI video where TikTok, Meta or YouTube ask.
Best for: Creators and businesses who need AI video without a watermark, legally
Frequently asked
Which AI video generator has no watermark for free?
Pika says its free plan exports have no watermark, but the free plan has 0 credits, so you buy credit packs, and its commercial license isn't included even then. Google Flow lets most users switch off the visible watermark, but an invisible SynthID marker stays on every clip (read Nov 3 to Nov 8, 2026).
What is the cheapest AI video generator without a watermark for commercial use?
Kling Standard: $6.99 for the first month, then $8.80, with 660 credits, watermark removal and commercial use listed on Kling's plan card (read Nov 8, 2026). Pika Starter at $10 and Hailuo Standard at $10.50 come next.
Does Higgsfield put a watermark on videos?
Only on free accounts. Higgsfield's help center says every free-account generation carries a Higgsfield watermark and paid plans come without one, including Unlimited generations. Invisible machine-readable markers may still be embedded.
Can I remove an AI video watermark?
Not without breaking the rules on several platforms. Hailuo's terms say you must not remove, obscure, alter or disable any watermark, and xAI's Acceptable Use Policy bans stripping watermarks. Pay for a plan that exports clean files instead.
Does Grok Imagine have a watermark on paid plans?
Yes. Grok's help page says generated images and videos include a Grok watermark and there is no setting to remove it, with no exception for paid plans.
Will a no-watermark video still be labelled as AI?
It can be. Meta says it reads C2PA and IPTC metadata for its AI info label, TikTok says it may label unlabelled realistic AI content itself, and providers like Google (SynthID) and Higgsfield embed invisible markers. Disclose realistic AI video where the platform asks.
The short version: "no watermark" is a paid feature almost everywhere. Pick the cheapest plan that lists both watermark removal and commercial use for the model you need, and keep the AI disclosure honest.
